Fleming Sixth Individually, Lakeview Fifth as Team in Boys State Golf

Nick Fleming of Scotus finished in sixth place in the Class B boys state golf tournament.
Fleming fired a 74 Wednesday at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering to finish with a two-day total of 5-over par. The Shamrocks’ Patrick Arndt carded an 81 in the final round to finish at 11-over and tied for 16th.
Lakeview’s top finisher was Grayson Vogt, who shot an 80 Wednesday and earned a tie for 21st at 14-over. As a team, Lakeview was fifth out of 12 clubs at 653, while York won the team title at 593.
