Five Huskers, Two Bluejays Make All-Region Volleyball Teams

Five Nebraska volleyball players and two from Creighton are all-region selections. 

Huskers Kaitlyn Hord, Madi Kubik, Lexi Rodriguez, Whitney Lauenstein and Bekka Allick were all named today to the AVCA North All-Region Team.  Hord earned her fifth career all-region honor, while Kubik picked up her fourth and Rodriguez her second.  Lauenstein and Allick were first-time choices. 

Bluejay sophomores Norah Sis and Kendra Wait were named All-East Region for the second straight season.  CU’s Kiana Schmitt received honorable mention.
