Fifth-Inning Rally Comes Up Just Short for CHS

A fifth inning rally by Columbus High baseball came up just short in a 6-5 home loss to Norris yesterday.

The Titans scored two runs in their first at-bat, then added four more tallies in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead.  The Discoverers plated five runs in the bottom of the fifth, but could come no closer.  Bentley Willison went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and scored a run.

Columbus has lost four straight games to slip to 4-6.  The Discoverers will host Blair tomorrow at 11 a.m.
