Two former Nebraska football players have been released by NFL teams this week.

The Jets cut veteran wide receiver Quincy Enunwa.  He had been placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list in May due to a neck injury.  Enunwa was the Jets’ sixth-round pick in 2014, but was limited to 41 games over five seasons due to injury.

The Bills released offensive lineman Spencer Long.  He was drafted by Washington in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft and also played with the Jets in 2018.
