Elijah Wood Added to NU Hoops 2020-21 Roster

Nebraska men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced today that Elijah Wood will play for the Huskers in the upcoming season, a year earlier than expected.  

The 6-foot-6 guard from Maryland has reclassified from the class of 2021. Wood was going to attend Hargrave Military Academy next school year.

Hoiberg says Wood “has the offensive skillset to create his own shot and the athletic ability to finish at the rim.”  Hoiberg also expects Wood to help on defense, noting “he possesses the length and size to guard multiple positions.”

NU had a roster spot for the 2020-21 season open up last week when Kobe King announced he was leaving the Huskers program for personal reasons.
