Eight-Man Football Playoff Second Round Matches Are Set

The eight-man football playoffs got underway last night and today the 16 teams in both D1 and D2 were reseeded and next Friday’s second-round games were set.
In D1, 5th-seeded Howells-Dodge will host 12-seed Laurel-Concord-Coleridge; 10th-seeded Cross County will visit 7-seed Weeping Water; number-13 seed Nebraska Christian visits 4-seed Dundy County-Stratton; and 16th-seeded Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family is at top-seeded Burwell.
In D2 next Friday, 2-seed Humphrey St. Francis entertains 15-seed Blue Hill; fifth-seeded Riverside hosts number-12 seed Johnson-Brock; and number-8 seed Osceola welcomes ninth-seeded Leyton.
