When Nebraska’s football team hosts Northwestern on Saturday it will be the 15th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Huskers hold an 8-6 lead, but the teams are even at five wins apiece since NU joined the Big Ten.
After yesterday’s practice, Nebraska linebacker JoJo Domann was asked about the teams’ history of playing close games. “It’s a dogfight,” Domann said. “It’s who plays more disciplined and who plays more physical is who usually wins.”
Saturday’s game can be heard on News Talk 900 KJSK and 93.5 The Hawk. It kicks off at 6:30 p.m. The Big Ten has announced that 6:30 will also be the kickoff time next Saturday for the Huskers’ game at Michigan, which will be televised nationally on ABC.
