Discoverers, Vikings Both Fall Thursday in Softball

In girls softball last night, Columbus was edged by visiting Omaha Westside 7-5.
The Discoverers out-hit the Warriors 12-9 and CHS batters only struck out twice. CHS is 0-5 and will play in a tournament at Lincoln East tomorrow.
Meantime, Lakeview lost at Centennial 11-5. The Vikings are now 2-3 and will entertain Central City on Tuesday.
