Discoverers Swimmers Downed by Norfolk

Columbus High’s swimming team was only able to win two of 22 events in a home meet against Norfolk on Tuesday. 

Morgan Johansen of CHS won the girls 100 yard butterfly to earn six points. The Columbus boys team won the 400 yard freestyle relay as Ben Jacobs, Josh Nelson, Owen Kirkpatrick and Caleb Kirkpatrick combined to net the Discoverers eight points. 

But, the Norfolk girls won by a final score of 115-55, while the Panthers boys prevailed 97-73.
