The Columbus High basketball teams split their home games against Seward last night. 

The Discoverers boys beat the Bluejays 56-42. Blake Edzards scored 12 of his game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter, while making eight of nine free throw attempts in the final period. 

Columbus has won three of its last four games and is 6-4.

In the girls’ game, the Discoverers fell to Seward 49-36, as the Discoverers dropped to 3-8 on the season.

The CHS clubs will visit North Platte on Friday.
