Discoverers Softball Club Splits DH at Grand Island

Columbus High’s softball team split a doubleheader at Grand Island Monday night.
The Discoverers were downed in the opener 8-3, but bounced back with a 7-0 win in the nightcap. CHS finished the regular season with a 17-20 record.
Columbus is the number 3 seed and will face second-seeded Papillion La Vista South in the A-1 district tournament in Gretna Wednesday at 11 a.m.
