Discoverers Seeking First Playoff Win Today Since 2010

Columbus High hosts Papillion-La Vista as the Class A playoffs open today. 

The Discoverers’ last win in the playoffs came against Bellevue West in 2010.  Since then, Columbus is 0-5 in the postseason.

Coach Craig Williams was asked how big is today’s game for him and his team.  “This is big for us because our kids play better with a chip on their shoulder,” Williams said.  “I think they’re excited to go out and prove to everybody in the state with a little run here that we deserve to be talked about throughout the state in Class A football.”
