Discoverers Roundball Clubs Fall at Kearney

Columbus High’s basketball teams bowed at Kearney on Saturday.
In the boys game, Ernest Hausmann scored 21 points and Sam Kwapnioski had 20, but the Discoverers fell 68-54. CHS is now 0-5.
The Bearcats won the girls contest 50-33, dropping Columbus to 1-4.
Both Discoverers clubs will host Lincoln Northeast tomorrow night. The girls game will have a 7:30 p.m. tipoff in the CHS main gym and will be aired on KLIR 101.
