Columbus High and Lakeview both suffered home losses in softball last night.

The Discoverers dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Fremont, falling 9-1 in the opener before being edged 11-10 in eight innings in the nightcap.  Columbus is now 13-12 and will travel to Lincoln Southeast for another twinbill on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, Lakeview was spanked 20-2 in four innings by Seward.  The loss snapped the Vikings’ eight-game winning streak and dropped their record to 12-5.  The Lady Vikes will host Aurora on Thursday.
