Discoverers Basketball Teams Split at Bellevue East

Columbus High’s boys basketball team notched its first win of the season last night.
The Discoverers won at Bellevue East 59-55, upping their record to 1-2. In the girls game, Columbus was downed by the Chieftains 44-39. The Discoverers girls are also 1-2 on the season.
The CHS teams will host Lincoln East tonight, beginning with the girls contest at 5:30 p.m.
