Discoverers Basketball Clubs Fall at Lincoln Southeast

The Columbus High boys basketball team had one bad quarter at Lincoln Southeast last night.
The Discoverers only trailed 29-28 at halftime, but were outscored by the Knights 15-3 in the third quarter of a 54-44 loss. Ashton LaPointe scored a team-high 13 points for CHS, which suffered its fourth straight loss to fall to 5-14.
In the girls game, Southeast outscored Columbus 11-5 in the fourth period to hand the Discoverers a 31-26 defeat. Jordyn Trotta had 11 points for CHS, which slipped to 7-12.
Both Columbus teams host Millard South tonight.
