Discoverers Baseball Goes 1-2 Over the Weekend

Columbus High’s baseball team went 1-2 this weekend. 

On Friday, the Discoverers were hammered at home by Fremont, 19-6 in five innings.  The Tigers banged out 17 hits and were helped by four CHS errors.  Columbus split a doubleheader at Lincoln Northeast on Saturday.  The Discoverers posted a 5-1 victory in the opening game, before getting out-slugged 15-13 in the second contest. 

Columbus is now 11-12 and will visit Lincoln Southeast tomorrow.
