Discoverers Baseball Club Wins Regular Season Finale

Columbus High’s baseball squad ended the regular season on a winning note with a 6-2 victory at Omaha North last night.
Evan Bock went 1-for-2 with two RBI and two runs for the Discoverers, who won their third game in a row and improved to 16-13.
On the mound, Columbus starter Ryan Eickhoff allowed just one hit and two unearned runs over five-and-a-third innings, while Brent Beard struck out all five batters he faced.
