After winning its first three games of the season, Columbus High’s baseball team lost its second straight on Monday. The Discoverers dropped a 4-1 decision at Lincoln Southwest.
The Silver Hawks took an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Columbus, which was held to three hits in the game, tallied its lone run in the top of the fourth, before Southwest closed the scoring with a run in the home half of the fifth.
CHS is scheduled to host Skutt today in a game that will likely be scuttled by the weather.
