Defense Prepares for Badgers, Two Earn Blackshirts

Nebraska’s football team continued preparations yesterday to host 15th-ranked Wisconsin this Saturday. 

Defensive coordinator Erik Chinander said in addition to having a top running back in Jonathan Taylor, the Badgers offense features “really big offensive linemen” and good tight ends, fullbacks and receivers.  

Also yesterday, Chinander announced that sophomore defensive lineman Damian Jackson and freshman linebacker Garrett Nelson were awarded Blackshirts. 

Saturday’s kickoff is at 11 a.m. The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 on KLIR.
