Defense Keys Wins for Scotus Boys and Girls vs. St. Cecilia

Both Scotus hoops teams started the season with home victories over Hastings St. Cecilia. 

The Shamrocks boys defense clamped down on the BlueHawks in a 66-20 win.  Max Wemhoff led a balanced attack with 15 points, while Cohen Pelan and Caleb Cameron had 11 points each for the ‘Rocks. 

The Scotus girls doubled up the Hawkettes 50-25.  The Shamrocks girls visit GACC next Tuesday, while the Scotus boys are off until next Friday when both ‘Rocks teams play at GICC.
