Fans of Nebraska and Creighton basketball should know in about a month whether the Huskers and Bluejays will start their seasons on time.

The NCAA will likely decide in mid-September whether the season will get a green light, or face a delay due to COVID-19.

NCAA senior vice president of basketball Dan Gavitt said in a statement that mid-September will likely be the first of many decisions about the upcoming season.  Gavitt said the NCAA has studied and developed contingency plans in case the season cannot tip off on November 10th.
