Davison Call Loss to Wildcats “Wildly Disappointing”

Former Nebraska receiver and current broadcaster Matt Davison shared his thoughts on the Huskers’ loss to Northwestern Monday on Sports Nightly, aired on KJSK.  Davison called the season-opening setback to the Wildcats “wildly disappointing.”

“A couple different times, you felt like Nebraska was in control of the game,” Davison said.  “Then, Northwestern put a drive together and scores a touchdown.  We have a broken coverage in the secondary on a long touchdown pass.  We give them a short field on the onside kick…give them another short field on the interception by Casey.”

Nebraska’s home opener is this Saturday against North Dakota.  Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
