Davis, Brodersen Earn Super-State Honors

Seniors Payton Davis of Aquinas Catholic and Abby Brodersen of Boone Central were named to Super-State teams today by the Nebraska Coaches Association. 

Davis earned the honor in boys’ cross country after winning the individual title at the Class D state meet, while Brodersen finished first at the Class C girls’ state golf tournament last month. 

Peter Sisco of Aquinas was named Class D All-State in boys’ cross country.  And in girls’ cross country, Boone Central’s Jordan Soto-Stopak and Alicia Weeder were named Class C All-State, while Hannah Swanson of Nebraska Christian was tabbed All-State in Class D. 

Columbus High seniors Colin Flyr and Alex Larson received Honorable Mention in Class A boys’ tennis.
