CU’s Mahoney Declares for NBA Draft

Denzel Mahoney has joined Creighton teammate Ty-Shon Alexander in declaring for the NBA draft. 

Mahoney played in 21 games for the Bluejays last season after transferring from Southeast Missouri.  The junior averaged 12 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for Creighton.

Like Alexander, who declared for the draft earlier, Mahoney can return to CU after going through the evaluation process by league executives as long as he doesn’t sign with an agent.
