CU Volleyball Claims Eighth Straight Regular-Season Title

Creighton’s volleyball team won its eighth straight Big East regular-season title by sweeping St. John’s 3-0 on Sunday. Scores of the match in Omaha were 25-12, 26-24, 25-20.
CU improved to 28-3 overall and tied Marquette for the regular-season crown with a 16-2 conference mark. The Bluejays earned the top seed in the Big East tournament because the Jays went 2-0 against the Golden Eagles this fall.
Creighton will face fourth-seeded DePaul Friday afternoon in Milwaukee.
