CU Upsets UConn Despite Losing Kalkbrenner

Creighton survived an injury to center Ryan Kalkbrenner to register a 59-55 win at number 17 UConn last night.
Kalkbrenner was helped off the floor clutching his ankle with just over 15 minutes to play. Ryan Hawkins led CU with 23 points. The Bluejays’ third top-25 win of the season hiked their record to 13-7, including a 5-4 mark in the Big East.
The Jays will stay on the road to play at Seton Hall on Friday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on FS1.
