CU Softball’s Wilson Named Big East Player of Year

Creighton softball’s Kailey Wilson has been named the Big East Player of the Year. The junior was a unanimous All-Big East First Team selection.
Wilson became just the fourth player in program history to earn a conference player of the year award.
She led the Big East with a .524 batting average during conference games. Wilson topped the league with a .984 slugging percentage and a .620 on-base percentage, and her seven home runs were tied for most in the conference.
