CU Men’s Soccer Wins First Round NCAA Tourney Match

Creighton senior Diego Gutierrez scored a goal in the 78th minute, lifting the CU men’s soccer team to a 1-0 win over Missouri State in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The Bluejays’ win in Springfield, Missouri improved their record to 9-7-2, while Missouri State finished at 17-2.
The Jays advance to face Tulsa Sunday at 6 p.m. in the second round.
