CU Men’s Golf Tied for Fourth as Big East Tourney Opens

The Creighton men’s golf team carded an even-par 288 and was tied for fourth place after day one of the Big East Championship in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
A pair of Bluejays who earned All-Big East accolades earlier in the day led CU. Charlie Zielinski, who was named to the all-conference second team, shot a 69 and was in fifth place.
Nate Vontz, selected to the All-Big East First Team, was tied for ninth after a first round 71.
