CU Men’s Basketball Bows to Michigan

In basketball, Creighton’s men lost 79-69 at Michigan last night as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games. 

The Bluejays led 41-38 at intermission, but wound up falling to 1-1 on the season, while the Wolverines improved to 2-0 under new coach Juwan Howard.  Ty-Shon Alexander led CU with 20 points, while adding eight rebounds.

Creighton will host Louisiana Tech Saturday at 5 p.m.
