CU Men’s Basketball Adds Duke Transfer O’Connell

Creighton basketball has added Duke transfer Alex O’Connell.  He announced on Twitter yesterday that he has officially committed to CU. 

The 6-foot-6 shooting guard has come off the bench for the Blue Devils the past three years.  O’Connell averaged 5.2 points per game last season.

While eligibility rules are a bit up in the air due to COVID-19, he’ll likely have to sit out next season before being able to play his senior campaign with the Bluejays in 2021-22.
