Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch has been announced as the sixth and final member of this year’s class going into NU’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

The former Nebraska quarterback helped lead the Huskers to a 55-9 record from 1997 to 2001. As a senior in 2001, Crouch won the Heisman and guided the Huskers to the national championship game.

In his college career, he passed for nearly 5,000 yards and rushed for more than 3,700 yards. Including bowl games, Crouch ran for 61 touchdowns, threw for 34 TD’s and had two touchdown receptions, including one in a win over rival Oklahoma at Memorial Stadium that was a key highlight in his Heisman-winning senior season.

Crouch was selected last month for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
