Crouch Goes Into the College Football Hall of Fame

Nebraska football great Eric Crouch will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame tonight.

Crouch and other members of the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes are being honored at the National Football Foundation dinner in Las Vegas.  Crouch and USC’s Carson Palmer are the two Heisman Trophy winners among 29 players and three coaches who will be inducted.  Crouch is the 25th Husker in the Hall, including 19 players and six coaches.

Crouch finished his college career as only the third quarterback in history to rush for 3,000 yards and pass for 4,000.  He won the Heisman and several other awards in his senior season in 2001 after guiding NU to an 11-2 record and the BCS National Championship Game.
