Cross Country: Scotus Girls Top Field at Malcolm Invite

The Scotus girls cross country team won the Malcolm High Invite on Tuesday. 

Three Shamrocks won individual medals: Hannah Heinrich was second, Emily Kavan finished third and Mary Faltys placed fourth.  Schuyler’s Miriam Deanda medaled at 14th and helped the Warriors finish seventh as a team.  East Butler was 10th out of 14 girls teams. 

In the boys 5K run, no individuals from the area earned medals.  Scotus was ninth out of 21 boys teams, one spot ahead of Schuyler, while East Butler took 15th and David City was 17th.
