Creighton’s Agnew Named to Scholar-Athlete Team

Jaylyn Agnew of the Creighton women’s basketball team has earned a spot on the Athletic Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Team. 

Agnew claimed a place on the team, which was announced yesterday, with a GPA of 3.79.

In her final home game on March 1st, Agnew set a CU single-game scoring record with 43 points against Georgetown.  That snapped Connie Yori’s record of 42 points, which had been on the books since 1982.

Agnew led the Bluejays with 20.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season.
