Creighton Women’s Hoops Edged by Providence

Despite a career-high 30 points from Morgan Maly and its team hitting a season-best 16 three-pointers, Creighton fell to Providence 79-75.
The home loss dropped the 25th-ranked Bluejays to 9-5 overall and 3-3 in the Big East. Maly was 12-of-20 from the field and 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. The 16 triples for the Jays were the most by any Big East team this season.
Creighton will host Marquette Sunday at 3 p.m. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
