Creighton Takes Home Three OSCA’s

It was a good night for Creighton Thursday in the second annual Omaha Sports Commission Awards. 

Jaylyn Agnew, Greg McDermott and the CU men’s basketball team were all honored in the pre-produced awards ceremony, broadcast on YouTube. 

Agnew, who’s on her way to the WNBA after winning Big East Player of the Year honors last season, was named Female Athlete of the Year.  McDermott was tabbed Coach of the Year and his Bluejays men’s basketball club was recognized as Team of the Year. 

Tyson Gordon of Omaha Skutt was named Male Athlete of the Year.
