Creighton Men Top Texas Tech, Meet Arkansas Tonight

The tenth-ranked Creighton men’s basketball team topped No. 21 Texas Tech 76-65 yesterday in the opening game of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational. 

The Bluejays improved to 5-0 with the win.  All five Creighton starters scored in double figures, led by 18 points from Arthur Kaluma.  CU’s Baylor Scheierman had a double-double with 11 points and a game-leading 12 rebounds. 

The Jays will take on No. 9 Arkansas, which is 4-0, tonight.  The game tips off at 7 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.
