Creighton Men In Action Tonight, Women Drop Opener

The Creighton men’s basketball club plays its second game in three days tonight.
The Bluejays, who won Tuesday’s season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, host Kennesaw State. Tipoff at CHI Health Center is set for 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the CU women suffered a heartbreaking loss in their season opener at Drake, 82-79 last night. The Jays rallied from a 17-point deficit to tie the game at 79-all in the final minute, only to see the Bulldogs hit a game-winning three-pointer with two seconds left. Creighton will host UNO on Saturday afternoon.
