Creighton in AP Top 10, Zegarowski Wins Honor

Back-to-back wins over ranked foes helped the Creighton men’s basketball team jump five spots to number 10 in this week’s AP Top 25.  The Bluejays are ranked 11th this week in the USA Today/Coaches poll.

CU posted a home win yesterday over Butler, ranked 21st at the time.  The Jays also won last week at Marquette, which was number 19. Creighton is now 22-6 overall and 11-4 in the Big East.

Also today, the Bluejays’ Marcus Zegarowski was named Big East Player of the Week.  He averaged 21 points and four rebounds per game last week.

The Jays play at St. John’s on Sunday.
