Number 11 Creigthon was knocked off by Providence 74-70 last night in Omaha. 

The Friars built an early 23-6 lead behind the strong inside play of Nate Watson, who wound scoring a career-high 29 points. 

The loss was the Bluejays second straight, as CU slipped to 10-4 overall and 6-3 in the Big East.  Damien Jefferson led Creighton with a career-best 26 points, while Marcus Zegarowski had 17 and went over the 1,000 point mark in his career. 

The Jays welcome number 23 UConn to CHI Health Center on Saturday.  The game tips off at 11 a.m. and will be televised on FOX.
