Creighton Faces Butler Again in Big East Tournament

The Creighton men’s basketball club opens postseason play this evening in the Big East Tournament. 

The 17th-ranked and second-seeded Bluejays will take on Butler in Madison Square Garden.  It’s the second meeting between the two teams in five days, as CU beat the Bulldogs 93-73 in Omaha last Saturday. 

Butler needed overtime to defeat Xavier 70-69 in the tourney’s first round last night. 

Today’s tipoff is set for 5 p.m. Central time.  The game will be televised by FS1.
