Coming off a three-game weekend sweep of St. Thomas, Creighton baseball visits crosstown rival Omaha this evening.
It’s a makeup game as the contest was originally scheduled for March 4th but pushed back due to bad weather. UNO has won the last three meetings with CU and the Mavs are 4-2 against the Jays since 2020. This season, Creighton is 12-9 while Omaha has gone 10-11.
Bluejays catcher Hogan Helligso earned a spot yesterday on the Big East Honor Roll. He was 4-for-7 at the plate with two doubles, a triple and five RBI last week.
