CRC Hoops Tourney Features Pair of Upsets Monday

The Crossroads Conference basketball tournament quarterfinals in York featured a pair of upsets yesterday. 

In girls play, ninth-seeded Shelby-Rising City shocked top-seed BDS 45-44. In boys action, number-7 seed Cross County upended second-seeded East Butler 45-40. 

The other boys contest had top-seeded Shelby-Rising City over Nebraska Lutheran 78-48. In the other girls game, number-2 seed Exeter-Milligan topped Hampton 63-40. 

In today’s quarterfinals on 93.5 The Hawk, Cross County’s girls battle East Butler at 3 p.m. and the Osceola boys meet BDS at 7:30.
