Cougars, Flyers Headed to Boys State Basketball Tourneys

Cross County is headed to the boys state basketball tournament for the first time in program history.
The fifth-seeded team in the C2 district finals, the Cougars hosted 12-seed North Bend Central and tamed the Tigers 61-53 last night.
Humphrey St. Francis punched its ticket to the D2 boys state hoops tourney. The 10th-seeded Flyers rolled to a 76-34 win over No. 7 seed Hyannis at Burwell.
