The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors broke open a close game with four runs in the fifth inning and went on to down Lincoln Northeast 11-5 last night. 

Cornerstone was leading 5-4 when the seniors scored four runs in the fifth.  Jurisky Rivera had four of Cornerstone’s 15 hits, Brent Beard had three RBI and Evan Bock drove in two runs.  The win improved the seniors’ record to 7-6. 

Tonight, the Columbus United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues will host Gretna in a doubleheader.  Game times at Pawnee Park Field are 5 and 7:30 p.m.
