Cornerstone Goes 3-1 in the Dakota Classic

The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors went 3-1 in the Dakota Classic this weekend.

Cornerstone won its first three games in South Dakota, before bowing out of the 40-team tournament on Sunday with an 8-1 loss to Omaha Central.

In Friday’s opening game, Columbus defeated Grand Forks, Minnesota 7-2.  On Saturday, Cornerstone blanked Lennox, South Dakota 6-0 and downed Worthington, Minnesota 11-3.   The Seniors are now 10-7 on the season.
