Cook Asked About Huskers' Maturity in Midst of 21-Match Win Streak

Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook met with the media yesterday.

The Huskers are ranked second in the nation and have won 21 straight matches. Asked about the maturity of his team, Cook replied “it just depends on the day and the Tik-Tok.” A reporter’s follow-up question asked if the Huskers were mature in the way they handle things on the court.

“We’re just a year older, a year wiser,” Cook said. “I think it has allowed them to be a little more consistent. It’s just kind of they way we do things – they’re kind of forced to handle the business and be prepared, because we prepare so hard.”

Nebraska is currently preparing to host No. 16 Minnesota Thursday night. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. with the pregame starting at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
