Scores Corrected in CHS’ Swimming Win at Lincoln High

The Columbus High swimming team won a dual at Lincoln High on Thursday. 

As the scores were reported originally, the Discoverers edged the Links in the overall team score 160-158.  The CHS girls won 90-80, while the Columbus boys were edged 78-70. 

However, it was discovered over the weekend there was a computer error in the scoring.  The corrected scores show that CHS won 175-150 in overall points.  The Discoverers girls actually won 99-76, while the Columbus boys won 76-74.

Ben Jacobs and Josue Mendez both earned secondary state times, in the boys 200 and 100 freestyle, respectively.
